Waylon Jones, better known as Killer Croc, is a DC Comics supervillain and frequent enemy of Batman. Born with a rare genetic condition resembling epidermolytic hyperkeratosis, Waylon's skin gradually transformed into a thick, reptilian hide.

His childhood was marked by abuse and ostracization due to his appearance. He was raised by his aunt who was an alcoholic, and he murdered her. This led him to a life of crime, eventually joining a traveling freak show before becoming a criminal enforcer in Gotham City.

Croc possesses superhuman strength, enhanced durability, and razor-sharp claws and teeth. His reptilian physiology grants him heightened senses and regenerative abilities. Over time, his mutation has progressed, rendering him increasingly bestial in appearance and behavior.

Often depicted as a brutal and cannibalistic foe, Killer Croc embodies the darker aspects of Gotham's criminal underworld. Though occasionally portrayed with some degree of pathos due to his tragic origins, he remains a formidable and dangerous threat.
